LITHOGRAPHS BY FRANTIŠEK PON.

Lithography is a graphic art technique based on printing from a plane surface. The drawing is executed using special chalk or ink on a smooth lithographic stone, usually made from solenhofen limestone, with a preparation of nitric acid in water-soluble gum arabic, so that the stone repels the oily printer’s ink on the blank areas of the drawing. The print itself is produced on a lithographic press. František PON.s colour lithographs are created in the lithographic workshop of Tomáš Svoboda.

Paintings and lithographs may be viewed and purchased in these galleries.
